Summer
The following is an example of a past summer itinerary. Activities listed are subject to change each year.

Leeward Community College's Upward Bound Program is one of many programs nationwide funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The program is designed to strengthen the academic skills of participating students. The goal of the program is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in their studies and pursue postsecondary degrees.

You will be the first to experience our newly revised and exciting summer program including Hands-on Physics, or unravel a mystery in our Forensics Chemistry program. Qualified and fortunate Juniors and Seniors will enroll as early–admit college students receiving college tuition scholarships to earn college credit (credit for Oahu residents only). These seats are limited. Other fortunate students may earn up to $300 - $400 working part time on campus gaining working skills while other classmates enroll in our internship program in math and science labs. Success will be a sure thing when you receive help from our free tutoring program and use of our extensive bank of laptop computers to complete your work! This is all at no charge!
