Small Group

In addition to scheduled workshops, the Educational Media Center (EMC) offers "on-demand" small-group-training-sessions.

Small group training sessions are targeted workshops with 3 - 7 participants. These sessions are conducted as short (less than 2 hour) workshops with follow-up sessions (if necessary). During the small group sessions, concepts are presented followed by hands-on practice time. All sessions are accompanied by handouts.

The advantage of small-group-training-sessions is:

• targeted training tailored to the groups needs
• flexibility in scheduling - every effort will be made for the EMC staff to accommodate your time/date request
• peer support by learning with and from each other

Schedule a small-group-training by:

1. Look over this semester's available training sessions and description of the training sessions.
2. Contact a few of your colleagues interested in the same session (up to 7 participants).
3. Decide on a date/time which fit with all of your schedules.
4. Call the EMC contact to schedule the session.
5. Check back often for additional training opportunities.
