This Teaching with Technology web site provides programs and resources designed to support the teaching-learning process. The Educational Media Center offers course development assistance and encourages instructional innovation by providing help with course design, development and use of technology to develop instructional resources and learning technologies.

Faculty Bootcamp is Here!

Leeward Community College Educational Media Center is providing a Faculty Boot Camp program to new faculty and lecturers designed to help them learn the ropes of their new positions. This weekly workshop series will build upon existing knowledge and further develop their teaching skills. During the Boot Camp sessions, they will learn valuable information such as what services are available, where to find those services, who to contact for help with those services, and most importantly why using those services and resources will ultimately benefit both them and their students. Laulima @ Leeward

The EMC will provide hands-on training on the new collaboration tool for your online and hybird classes followed by one-on-one assistance in converting your course from WebCT to Laulima. An EMC faculty should have or will be contacting you soon to go over the Planning Worksheet with you. Below are the workshop training dates: All training will be held in BS-107

March 11—April 29 (Tuesdays) from 2—3:30

March 12—April 30 (Wednesdays) from 2—3:30

SUMMER 2008:

May 23—June 3 (Daily) from 1—4
