Senate Chamber Usage Policy

The Senate Chambers is located in the Campus Center adjacent to the Student Government office and The Pearl.  It is a popular conference room due to its large space seating 15-20 comfortably and with food/beverages being allowed.  The Senate Chambers primarily serves Student Government, Student Government Budget and Finance Committee, and Student Activities Board.  The Student Life Office would still like to provide the Senate Chambers for student organizations or faculty/staff meetings within the following guidelines.

Guidelines:

1. Please ensure that all items are returned to its original location after use
2. The table is cleaned from spills/food residue
3. The whiteboards are erased
4. Turn off lights when leaving the room and lock the back door

Student Life provides:

1. There is a tan cabinet near the door that contains the following items for client use:
1. Extension Cord
2. Power Strip
3. Cleaning supplies for the table
2. The whiteboards contain:
1. Dry erase markers
2. Dry eraser

Reserving the Senate Chambers:

1. Fill out the Facilities Request Form and submit to the Student Life Office

2. If there are any discrepancies with your reservation the Student Life Office will contact you
3. If there are no discrepancies,  the request will be sent to the Facilities Coordinator

Day of your meeting:

• The room should be opened at least 5 minutes prior to your meeting
• If the room is not open, please see the Student Life Office.
