The Marine Option Program (MOP) is an educational program within the
University of Hawaii system that teaches students more about the marine environment and how the ocean
relates to different aspects of life here in Hawaii. MOP also acts as a
clearinghouse for ocean-related career opportunities and as a network of marine
experts to mentor students statewide. |
MOP supports many community activities
such as:
- the "Get the Drift and Bag It" beach clean up (Click here

Annual Ocean Count whale census efforts (Click here
