Open house offers career assistance

Job Prep Services is a wonderful resource that can assist students in many of their career areas. This Wednesday and Thursday, the office is hosting its spring open house to inform students on the many and various resources it offers.
According to Job Prep's Angela Coloretti, the open house is a way to reach out to Leeward Community College students, and inform them of resources to help with their career choices. Examples of these services are resume writing and interview practicing. The office also offers free lifetime job placement assistance for graduates. All of their services are free.
The open house will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at room AD-222. Refreshments will be served.
Coloretti pointed out that current Leeward students that log onto the Job Prep site (www.leeward.hawaii.edu/jobs) during the current promotional period may enter to win prizes, including two Subway gift cards, two Jamba Juice gift cards, and even a $25 iTunes gift card. Students unable to attend the open house may visit the Job Prep office during the weekday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
