Volunteer Information

Individuals willing to help in a homeless shelter environment are encourage to contact the office through the telephone number listed above.  Volunteers work in a variety of tasks for the shelter, which includes working with areas with which the Health Center needs most like housekeeping and clerical work.  Duties are not limited, so please call for more information on the most current opportunities available.

Additional Information

The Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is one of the City and County of Honolulu ’s Homeless Service Organizations.  It currently serves a majority of Native Hawaiians, as Native Hawaiians make up both the majority of the homeless and non-homeless population in the Wai'anae area.  It plays a vital role in providing much-needed services to the homeless individuals in Wai'anae.

The Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Center offers the following services to its homeless population:

·      Outreach Health Care

·      Case Management

Social Services for Sheltered, Unsheltered, and At-risk Homeless on the Wai'anae Coast.
