Volunteer Information

Ho'oulu accepts LCC and non-LCC student volunteers.  Volunteers can expect to help with various tasks, including office tasks like database maintenance and filing, maintenance of its facility, and other various projects.  Although the majority of volunteers are needed during the academic year, some volunteers may able to arrange summer volunteer programs.  

Please call for information on other possible projects and volunteer opportunities.

Ho'oulu provides financial support for cooperative education and internships, peer counseling, assistance in career and vocational planning, and opportunities to gain work experience.

Ho'oulu’s goal is to increase recruitment, retention, and completion of Native Hawaiian students in vocational educational programs by providing support services and academic advising.
