All students interested and willing to learn and work with the families and individuals of the communities of which the Life Foundation serves.  Volunteers can be expected to develop and create projects or workshops for clients.  Volunteers will also utilize the community resources to ask for donations and other materials.

Additional Information

Established in 1983, Life Foundation is Hawai'i’s oldest and largest nonprofit AIDS organization providing support services to men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS and offering HIV preventive education to the community.  Services are free and confidential.  The Native Hawaiian Program of the Life Foundation also offers case management services which include outreaching to the Native Hawaiian community.  Case managers will meet with clients in their homes, beaches, parks, and other areas where the client is most comfortable.  Also, case management services offer referrals to healthcare providers, DHI/SSI benefits, housing assistance, In-home support and mental health services.
