Volunteer Information

Please email KSPAR with inquiries about the most current volunteer opportunities available.  Projects differ by academic quarter, so contact the PAR staff for information on new projects.  Common projects include event organization, database management, alumni tracking, information/information technology, and clerical work.

What is the KSPAR Department?

The Kamehameha Schools Parent and Alumni Relations (PAR) Department is here to serve the parents and graduates of Kamehameha Schools. Our staff comes with years of experience and expertise in parent and alumni relations. Collectively, we bring to the department a commitment of diligence and dedication to Kamehameha and the legacy of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop.

KSPAR Department Goals and Objectives:

To Connect, Involve and Serve all parents and alumni of the Kamehameha Schools, and the Hawaiian Community

• Provide a centralized department of information for parents and alumni

• Increase parent and alumni awareness of, and support for Kamehameha Schools and its programs, policies and procedures

• Maintain a parent and alumni database

• Track lost alumni

• Promote and increase parent and alumni camaraderie, mutual assistance and networking

• Serve as liaison between KS and parent and alumni groups and associations

• Respond effectively to all inquiries, concerns and suggestions

• Maintain two-way communication via meetings, workshops, correspondence and technology

• Publish Na Makua O Kamehameha, the parent newsletter and publish I Mua, the alumni magazine every quarter.

• Provide up to date information to parents and alumni via the PAR website
