Individuals who support the goals of KAHEA are encouraged to volunteer.  Volunteers will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Promotional Marketing
  • Media and graphic arts
  • Outreach and Education Skills
  • Media
  • Journalism
  • Web Development

Additional Information 

KAHEA works to promote the protection of Native Hawaiian cultural rights and our fragile ecosystems through involving public participation in decisions impacting Hawaiian/public trust lands.

KAHEA additionally aims to protect the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, Mauna Kea , ocean waters from cruise ship pollution, and various cultural sites.  KAHEA is involved in efforts to promote education on genetic engineering and protecting traditional knowledge.
