Volunteer Information

All individuals with an open mind and aren’t afraid of hard work are encouraged to apply!

Additional Information

Kupono was founded on the following traditional Hawaiian values.  Through daily expression and demonstration of these values, Kupono hopes to reunite symbolically with the po’e kahiko.

·       Pa’ahana – diligence

·       Ha’aha’a – humility

·       ‘Ohana – family

·       Ho’omana – spirituality

·       Huikala – forgiveness

·       Laulima – cooperation

Kupono volunteers and members gain pride and leadership by offering different activities to the school and community.  Kupono believes firmly the phrase, “Ma ka hana ka ‘ike,” or that in the task is the knowledge and understanding.
