Volunteer Information

All volunteers are welcome.  Projects in the community vary by clubs and councils.  Please visit the website http://www.aohcc.org and click on “council” or “club” to search for a volunteer position by club location.

Ongoing activities include: office work, one-time event service work (ushering, clean-up), event planning, community fairs, database help.

Organization Purposes

The Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs organizes, charters, coordinates, and provides guidance and opportunities for leadership training to Hawaiian Civic Clubs.  It advocates positions endorsed by the Association at its annual Convention, or as approved by the Board of Directors (as appropriate).  It actively participates in the promotion, perpetuation and practice of long-held traditional Native Hawaiian attitudes and values that dignify all human life and that are the underpinnings of the Native Hawaiian culture that compromise a unique, rich, and enduring legacy of the first people of Hawai'i.
