This page displays commonly asked questions about my courses.

How is ACC 202 online different from the regular course?

The online course is presented entirely online.  It gives you the freedom of going at your own pace.  There are deadlines so you cannot go slower than the schedule but you may go faster.  In fact, there are several students who complete the course a month ahead of schedule.

If I am taking the online ACC 202 course, do I have to come to the campus to take quizzes and exams?

No.  All quizzes and exams are delivered via WebCT.  You may take the quizzes and exams from the comfort of your own home.

Is and Internet course better for me?

It depends.  Everyone leans differently.  If you are motivated, disciplined and can learn easily through reading with little other instruction, Internet course may work well for you.  On the other hand, if you need someone to keep you on track or need additional assistance, you may easily get frustrated in an online course.

To see if a distance education course is right for you, take the self-test at http://www.hawaii.edu/uhcc.e-learn/uhcc/intro/self_assessment.php.

Where can I go for help on WebCT?

You can start by going to the LCC Distance Education web site at http://
