Point Wilson is located in Fort Worden State Park, a massive WWII relic adjacent to the Victorian era city of Port Townsend in Northwestern Washington State. This is the view towards the stormy Straits of Juan de Fuca. On a clear day you can see Vancouver Island, maybe even the lights of Victoria. The wind swept trees bear witness to the harsh conditions at the point. During my high school days this was a popular spot to hide while cutting class, partake of herb and for lovers to enjoy "submarine races."
