These Royal Canadian Naval Cadets are percusionists practicing for a performance of the 1812 Overture on BC Day. The Victoria Symphony performed on a barge in the middle of the harbor while cadets fired canons during the finale. The sound was dramatic but not very musical (the orchestra was inaudible during canon fire).
