Images from Washington, Oregon and British Columbia Click on the thumbnails to make them bigger I grew up in Port Townsend, Washington, a small mill town on the Olympic Peninsula. After graduating from WWU, I washed ashore on Oahu (oh-ah-who, gathering place of many cars). I quickly realized Hawaii's balmy tropical climate suited me better than the dark, dreary and cold weather of the Pacific Northwest. However, Summer in the Pacific Northwest is relatively warm and affords photographic opportunities galore, e.g., snow capped mountain ranges, rolling farm lands, inland seas, bustling cities, plentiful parks, virgin rain forests and historical landmarks. Hence, I have returned many times to wander and sightsee.
