Ala Moana • Path to the Sea The stretch of reef-protected white sandy beaches nestled between Waikiki and Honolulu Harbor is known as Ala Moana (path to the sea). The civic center of this area is Ala Moana Center, the world's largest open-air shopping center. The recreational center is Ala Moana Beach Park and the setting for most of my images.
