Summer 2008 Beginning Guitar Class (UH Manoa)

Looking for something to do this summer? Why not learn to play guitar? This course is a great way to start. It's a noncredit class and covers the basics of guitar playing: technique, music reading, chords and solos. No prior musical experience needed. Students must provide their own guitar and purchase a required textbook ($10) from the instructor at the first meeting.

This class is taught by renown studio teacher Seil Frary (Frary Classical Guitar, 944-8108). Course runs from July 9 to August 6, Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 PM, and meets on the UH Manoa campus. Cost is $60 UH Student, Faculty and Staff or $65 Community/Guest. Call CCLC at (808) 956-6468 for registration. Register online at CCLP. Questions for the teacher? Call Seil at 944-8108.
