The Leeward Community College Food Service Program's mission is to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence essential to prepare students for a wide range of successful employment opportunities in culinary career.  Our faculty is committed to providing a fusion of hands-on experience reflective of our community's diverse culinary heritage.

LCC’s culinary program focuses on preparing students to enter the culinary workforce. The program’s goal is to offer a coordinated curriculum that insures continuous learning and development of culinary skills required for employment.

• Bakers at Café Laufer

• Managers and Cooks in the Department of Education School Lunch program.

• Sous chef at the Hawaii Prince Hotel.

• Executive chef, baker, cooks and pantry workers at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa.

• Sous Chef and chefs at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

• Sous chef , cooks and pantry workers at the St. Francis West Hotel

• Chef of the Schofield Officer’s club.

• Pastry Chef/owner of Ted’s Bakery in Haleiwa.

• Cafeteria Manager and cooks in the Leeward Community College culinary program

• Cooks and pantry workers at the Mariposa Restaurant in Nieman Marcus.
