Pre-Order Lunch

A day of free workshops open to the community!

This year the annual HMAUS Mactoberfest is a joint venture with Geek Day at Leeward Community College. There will be hands-on workshops in Leeward's computer labs on iPhoto, Mac 101 for new Mac owners, iTunes and iMovie! There will also be hands-on workshops on Flash, Illustrator, Wireless Home Security, Photo Editing with Picnik and more. All workshops are free but come early to get yourself tickets to the ones you want.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for registration, coffee and the flea market. The first workshops begin at 10 am. There will also be demonstrations of Voice Thread, Anime and Making Tattoos with Photoshop and Illustrated presented by LCC's staff and Digital Media students in the Student Lounge.

As always, there will be lucky number drawings sponsored by HMAUS during the day.

Coffee, pastries and water will be available, but make sure you have lunch. Big and ono bentos or a vegetarian choice with a drink can be pre-purchased for $7.50.  You can order online now. The deadline is October 21 for online orders and October 19 for payment by check.

Hot Dog Hawai'i will also be there with hot dogs and sandwiches that day if you don't want a bento.

Visit the HMAUS site to learn about three more free presentations that week.
