Business cards are printed according to an approved standard design, paper and ink. There are two methods for obtaining business cards:
1. Order through UH System. Details are online. The minimum order is 500 and the cost is approx. $60-$75.2. Please check with your division or unit secretary before proceeding. If departments wish to utilize other printers, a written memo from the dean, director, or chair requesting permission shall be sent to the Vice President for External Affairs and University Relations for approval.
Note: In order to maintain a standard of quality, we do not endorse the printing of business cards on perforated blank sheets and therefore will not be providing templates for business cards.
Creative Services does not have a copier. Color copies are available at Duplicating Services.
The color printer in Creative Services is supported through the Institutional Marketing account. We are in the process of determining the policy of its use, although it will primarily be used for promotional and informational materials. The Innovation Center for Teaching and Learning and Duplicating Services have color printers for faculty and staff use.
Stay tuned for guidelines.
Instructors and staff who are in need of digital cameras are asked to contact Educational Media Center or Innovation Center for Teaching and Learning.
A limited number of sign holders will be available throughout campus starting October 2003. Policy and schedule TBD.
Lamination is once again available at Duplicating Services.
While the college does not have an official photographer on staff, we can arrange for the graphic designer to cover events or activities. Advance planning is key. Please submit a Creative Service Request two or more weeks in advance. Coverage of the event will be determined by production scheduling.
