at any point in your program here at L.C.C. and we suggest the earlier
you get started, the better for you.
Job Prep Services
staff help you get on with your job search whether it's for a part
time job while you're in school, for the big one you want when you
graduate, or for an upgrade to your present job. We assist
students with completing job applications, creating a resume and
a cover letter, help students to practice their interview skills,
and design a job search plan. We have tips to make your search
more effective and productive. We supply the information.
You do the footwork.
If you are
uncertain why you are in college and undecided about a major or
career this website, along with the help of your career counselor,
will help you gather and interpret information to assist you in your
career planning.
Career Center services
are available for students interested in career exploration and
planning. Counseling faculty and staff are available to guide
students through the career/life planning process. Students can
learn about their interests, abilities, goals, and values as well as
learning about the world of work. Students can come in to the
Counseling and Advising Center to request an appointment with a
counselor for career/life planning assistance on an individual
basis. Students can also enroll in a one-credit
IS 104 Career/Life Planning class. The
