Business Technology

Our Business Technology program, formerly known as Office Administration, and Technology (OAT),  is focused on providing office-related and computer technology skills.  After completing this program you will have the tools to begin working in a computerized office environment as an office assistant, data entry clerk, or medical or legal assistant.  This program has a focus on the use of computer technology in an efficient and quality manner.  In computer classes, each student will have access to a computer to practice the skills and knowledge you are learning.

Our curriculum is designed with the assistance of our Business Technology Program Advisory Committee.  These committee members from the business community and related areas provide valuable input on what skills are needed by our students today.  A list of duties of our BT Program Advisory Committee is available by clicking here.

Our faculty will advise and counsel you on the best courses to take to earn your certificate or degree in the shortest period of time.  This program also requires you to participate in the Cooperative Education program which allows you to gain work experience and semester credits at the same time.  And if you decide to continue your education at a four-year university, our Associate in Applied Science degree for the Business Technology program will transfer.  Click on one of the following links to learn more about our diverse classes, quality faculty and various certificate and degree programs.
