ASSOCIATE IN ARTS IN TEACHING (62 credits)

(43 credits in Liberal Arts and 19 credits in Education coursework)

Why choose the AAT (Associate in Arts in Teaching) degree over a regular AA (Associate in Arts)?

The AAT degree allows students to jump start their study of education by offering education course and field experiences in their freshmen and sophomore years. This allows students to make an earlier informed decision as to whether education as a career is right for them. The AAT degree also embeds field experiences in most pre-professional education courses, so students will learn about teaching local classrooms with experienced teachers.
