The Hoʻoulu Project's main goal is to assist it's students in all aspects of life in order to be successful. We offer various services for students.

The Ho'oulu Project works closely with the LCC Job Prep Services, the Service-Learning Coordinator, Cooperative Education Coordinators and community representatives to provide opportunities for Ho'oulu participants to gain experience working in their fields of study.

The main attraction of our student services is our Mac & Dell Computer Lab fully equipped with 20 Mac laptops & 8 Dell laptops. Students also have printing priveleges for school work with access to black as well as color printing.

A new addition to Hoʻoulu is our Project Center. Available for student use is a typewriter, laminator and book binding system. Please see our friendly staff for assistance!

Recently expanded & continuing to grow is our Resource Book Center. Included in our collection are four major topics which are Hawaiian Studies, Māla ʻŌiwi , Hawaiian Language & Career and Technical Education. We also have a collection of DVDs and VHS tapes pertaining to the above four topics. All resources are availble for checkout by students. Please see our staff for procedures and sign out sheet.

Along with the Hawaiian Resource Center, we also have a Career Resource Center. Helpful text can be found for career planning, resume writing, job interview and techniques, ASVAB/SAT/GED study guides, along with dictionaries and thesaurus. All these text may also be borrowed by our students.

Located adjacent to the Project Center is the Information Resource Center where brouchures and pamphlets are. Information pertaining to Hoʻoulu as well as other Native Hawaiian services, programs, scholarships and activites can be found here. Please feel free to advantage of this resource and grab a few brochures while you're here.

Last but not least is our Office Supplies Station. Students have access to these basic supplies such as stapler, tape, scissors, hole puncher and pencil sharpener. Feel free to use these supplies as needed.
