Sul Ak San is a popular resort area near the North Korean border. While riding the bus, South Korean soldiers boarded our vehicle and searched for commies. Luckily they didn't find any! Signs of the war that divided the Korean peninsula were still evident: barred wire on beaches, war memorials in parks and a very visible military presence.
I really wanted to ring the bell, but the sign in front of the bell house says do not enter.
