A few years ago the "World Beat" craze hit the USA and Ecuadorian folk ensembles were common fare in tourist cities from Vancouver, B.C., to Honolulu. Here an Ecuadorian musician rips on panpipes & seashells at Ala Moana Shopping Center. People in Hawaii are poor tippers so street musicians tend to avoid performing here.
