The dark side of Chinatown at 6:30 AM. The fast walking senior citizen provides counterpoint to the sleaze shop. Swing Video is next to the famous but defunct Club Hubba Hubba on Hotel Street. The surrounding sidewalk is a curious mixture of dirtbags, panhandlers, harlots, pushers and pain old folk. Many of the shops on this block were closed down by the police due to drug trafficking. Dumb move by the city. Now the same sleaze shops have relocated in the Ala Moana area in the middle of tourist central. These shops don't have to worry anymore about drug trafficking interfering with their sleaze trade.
