I guess this is sorta of a "girlie-boy" type of image but it was too perfect to past up. I normally shoot more manly stuff--ugly animals, fights, guts, etc.--and curse and spit in between frames. Couldn't find any blood or fast moving objects so I figured what the hay. But I was trippin' on ale so I wasn't self-conscious about such odd subject matter 'n banged away with gusto.
This grill is the north end of an antique Saurer bus on display during a block party in Bern, Switzerland. The event celebrated the train station's new plexiglas roof and attracted tens of thousands of revelers: booze, bands 'n eats galore. Besides this bus, antique steam locomotives and electric streetcars were displayed and available for rides. I rode back 'n forth on the steam locomotive 6 or 7 times and screamed out the windows with all the other partygoers.
