I've spent a lot of time around the Fremont Casino and shot its neon lights from every angle and distance. You can only people watch, drink and gamble so much! Graphically I like this image better than the straight on view but of course you can't read the signage.

The Fremont has tiny rooms, is smoky as hell and kind of a dump. Can't say it has a good selection of beer but the Paradise Buffet is decent if you enjoy stretching your gut. But it's all about location: the middle of Fremont Street makes it prime real estate and a convenient base to casino hop from. It's a mere stone's throw from Binions, Golden Nugget and a dozen other casinos.

Crowds of older Hawaii folks fill the Fremont making it almost as popular with islanders as the California and Main Street Station. The abundance of kupuna (elders), neighbor island and rural Oahu gamblers give it a rustic old Hawaii vibe. You often see kupuna at the gaming tables stroke their mojo and shout "us go chance 'em brah!"
