Okay, this is not my usual photographic fare. And I'm the first to admit I'm not a great street photographer--too shy. However this "lost" Chinese American couple intently studying their "Rick Stevens Rome 2008" guide book was too much to resist. The candid pose set against the ancient Roman wall and arranged plants just seemed to work, so I raised camera to face and clicked. This is a back alley near the Roman Pantheon. I think I was lost too.
I saw a lot of Americans carrying the Rick Stevens guide. The DK guide was popular as well.
