When I was a kid, I biked by this fire tower daily on my paper route. I still remember every house along the route and each late paying customer! The tower has been restored and looks much better than I remember it. A large hand rung bell is mounted topside while a horse drawn fire carriage stands ready for action below. Back in the day, you didn't stand a chance if your house caught on fire.
