Every Summer thousands of kids jump from this rock to the shallow waters of Waimea 35 or 40 feet below. I shot these keiki as the sun was to slipping below the horizon (extreme right). Besides the spectacular scenery, this spot has unique acoustic properties: the waves and voices of children reverberate off the rocks and water, making sunset an even more magical experience.
