Nam De Mun Lunch Counter Seoul, Korea
Nam De Mun is a congested shopping district in Seoul. While my wife shopped in Common Plaza, I waited outside and watched people. This lunch counter with housewives and office workers having a delicious lunch looked like a potential "Geographic moment." A moving foreground subject would provide counterpoint for the static dinners. So I waited for the pedestrian traffic to wane to a single walker and nailed this image.
There was one unusual thing about this area: lots of people asked if they could buy my American money.
