Although after sunset, the sky was still much brighter than the land and water. Using Aperture 3 I managed to dig out the missing clouds in this old RAW file. Of course the colors were strange and needed to be desaturated for family audiences.

I took this photo in Spring 2004 after a winter of heavy snowfall. This summer the same spot was dry and looked like a farmer's field.
