Neighbor Island Galleria

Images from the Islands of Hawaii

I'm not much of a world traveler as I have been marooned on Oahu 25 years. I manage to occasionally swim to other Hawaiian islands, the "Neighbor Islands" as the locals say. Most of the state of Hawaii's 1.3 million souls live on Oahu. Each person owns one or two cars as Oahu is friggen traffic hell. Driving in Honolulu is sorta like driving in LA, but only slower and without honking. The main neighbor islands--Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, Molokai--are relatively peaceful and serene. Thus, our Neighbor Islands still retain some of the favor of yesteryear's Hawaii. For photographers, there is an abundance of natural beauty, quaint towns and friendly people to explore and photograph.

Like my other galleries, the Neighbor Island Galleria will continue to grow as I process more images. So, come back and visit again!
