Galleria Columbia Gorge

Peter Kun Frary, Professor of Music • University of Hawaii, Leeward

The Columbia Gorge is a mammoth canyon craved out by the mighty Columbia River. The Gorge snakes 80 miles westward through the Cascades, forming a boundary between Washington and Oregon. Both sides of the Gorge are stunning, but the Oregon side is better preserved and more scenic. I've visited many times and always find something new to see and do.
